In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Narrated Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari:
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa salam) said, "When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah's reward it is regarded as Sadaqa for him."

Muslim Schools
Not only the local area and their requirements but also of the general state of education for British Muslims reveals the answer to not only show a real need but an overwhelming necessity for precisely the types of services that ACE is providing.
The United Kingdom has a Muslim population of the order of 2.4million, of which a disproportionate 38% is concentrated in the capital city of London. With the comparatively large Muslim minority populations, especially within the capital, one would imagine the availability of faith schools would reflect the population demographics. Unfortunately, whilst research carried out in 2004 shows the presence of over 7, 000 state maintained faith schools - just seven state maintained Islamic schools offering for only 1, 770 children in the UK.
Data collected in 2007 by the Department for Children, School and Families and presented by the Times Education Supplement illustrate Muslim faith schools are amongst the most successful in the country with academic achievement records, and this is why ACE is present here today.
Data shows that pupils make more progress at Muslim secondary schools than in any other type of school including faith and non faith based.
- 62.9% of pupils attending a Muslim faith school achieved five GCSE's with a grade of A* - C.
- This is more than double the government floor requirement of 30% - higher than the average of non faith schools - 43.3% and higher even than the average figure for faith based schools of 51.8%
